The Wilbur Wright Christmas program is tonight at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm. Several Christmas trees are decorated at Bundy as part of a community food drive. Bring a canned or packaged food item and leave at your favorite tree tonight. The tree collecting the most food items wins!

Our Monday night Board Meetings are filled with laughter and joy. Congratulations to Riley Elementary for earning state recognition with exceptional I-Learn Reading Scores and a Trojan Award of Excellence! We also want to honor Annette Goggin, for 39 years of teaching; she will be retiring in May. We are grateful for Jennifer Blackford for serving 5 years on the School Board; thank you! New Castle Community Schools will be on a 2 hour delay Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

Students in PreK-5th grade have the opportunity to participate in a Percussion Clinic. Forms and payment are due by Friday, December 13th. The clinic will be on Saturday, January 18th. Stop by the office to pick up a form.


In the event there is not school due to weather, please have students login for lessons tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. /Teachers will be live. Monday/ Tuesday (November 25 & 26) are remote learning days. Students will have assignments posted and teachers will not be live. Grades PK-1 will have packets to complete.

Congratulations to the red division’s first place spell bowl team who competed last night at Randolph Southern. Outstanding Wilbur Wright spellers contributing to the win include: Elizabeth Adkins, Carson, Morgan, Mallory, Lilly, Whitley, Ellanor Werking, and Charlie. An additional, over-the-top congratulations goes to Whitley Ping. She was a double-ribbon winner…spelling ALL SEVEN words in her round PERFECTLY! Great work team!
