
Our four American Sign Language classes toured the Ball State Deaf Studies Program, visited many alumni, and played many games focusing on Deaf Culture!

Mrs. Bowman's Environmental Science Class took a field trip to Rising Sun, Indiana, for "Ohio River Cleanup" with Living Lands & Waters. In 2.5 hours, the students collected 2, 346 pounds of trash! We now understand the magnification of toxin concentration in our water sources. Let's recycle, New Castle!

Grayson Joslin, 2021 NCHS graduate, visited multiple classrooms today, encouraging students to pursue dual credit courses and internships! Graduating early from Ball State's College of Communication Information and Media, Joslin is now applying for jobs in the real world!

New Castle's FFA chapter went to their District 9 kickoff last night at Hagerstown. This group of students met with others all over their district and participated in different games. FFA is tied in to our Agricultural Pathway.
