Yesterday, a group of NCHS students had the unique opportunity to visit Camp Atterbury and experience what life could look like after high school through the lens of the U.S. Army. This field trip offered hands-on activities that gave students a taste of military training and lifestyle.
Students challenged themselves on obstacle courses, tackled physical and mental tests, and even got the adrenaline-pumping chance to rappel down the Army’s iconic rappel tower. One of the more eye-opening parts of the day? Lunch, in the form of MREs (Meals Ready to Eat), just like real soldiers eat in the field.
It was a day filled with teamwork, courage, and a look into the discipline and structure the Army offers. For students considering military service after graduation, this was a valuable and unforgettable experience.

Tonight the Career Center's Culinary and Graphic Arts programs hosted "Restaurant Wars" in the NCHS cafeteria. Congratulations to all the contributors and final contestants! #WeAreNCCC
