Share our city! Share our America! We're looking for Host Families for the 2024-25 school year for our exchange students. Program for Academic eXchange, PAX, places students from over 70 different countries into American households.
Students are between the ages of 15-18yrs old and have taken at least 3 years of English
Host families only need to provide a bed, a place to study and 3 meals a day. And of course a welcome and warm home environment. PAX students are eager to join in the community and part of their requirement while in the states is to find ways to give back to the community through volunteer opportunities
PAX needs Host families for any of the 3 reasons:
1) Welcome family - Host for up to the first 8 weeks a student is in country, then the student transfers to a permanent host family
2) Emergency family - Host when a student may need a temporary home due to an emergency situation
3) Permanent family - Host for the full duration of a student's time in the states (one semester or a full school year)
Questions? Please contact Elizabeth Masterson at (317)408-6157, or visit https://pax.org/families

Meet our Summer Interns: Nick Langston & Claire McClure in Technology (have fixed hundreds of Chromebooks and prepped BenQ boards for the fall), Nick Kirby in Maintenance (has cleaned out drains, removed graffiti, trimmed trees, HVAC repair...), and Adam Hannon in Administration (has done extensive data entry and created a Wall of Fame handbook for future interns). Our students are earning credit towards their Project-Based Learning graduation requirement, and are getting paid for their time. We're proud of their amazing work ethic. Thank you! #ThinkWin-Win #EmployabilitySkills #SummerInterns
