Our CommuiTeam Interns got the pleasure of interviewing our amazing Weightlifting Teacher, Mr. Will Ragle. Teaching 4 weightlifting classes, Mr. Ragle has full male and female enrollment in two introductory and two advanced classes. In the introductory classes, they have been working on core lifts. Lifters use an app to track their progress to calculate the physics and goals safely within the lifts. Weightlifting is a key element within physical education curriculum. It helps students develop strength, improve their overall fitness, and learn proper technique to avoid injury. We are so thankful to have an experienced lifter teaching our high school students not only how to lift, but discipline and hard work.
E'rika Love is a Sophomore in Mr. Ragle's introductory class, and says her brother Jack was her "inspiration in joining." He encouraged her to better herself. "What better way to better myself than push my limits physically?" Mr. Ragle is helping NCHS students #BuildBetterFutures.
